February Favorites: Casual Postpartum Clothing

image1-2.jpeg

I have been getting asked a lot what my postpartum wardrobe consists of. To be completely honest when I’m not in my husband’s hoodies I live in leggings, oversized sweaters, and sneakers! However, on occasion I will actually put on jeans and a non-spit up top on. The more I share my mama favorites, I realize that the majority of other moms are also living in casual, simple clothes. Below is a quick list of some favorites!

Postpartum Pants:

SPANX Faux Leather Leggings: These pants can be dressed up or dressed down! I wear these with a pair of sneakers and oversized tee when running errands or pair with booties and a cute flowy shirt for date night! They are super compressing and help keep that postpartum belly in! They are a staple in my closet.

Zella Live In High Waist Leggings:  I don’t care who you are, you need these leggings! They are extremely flattering and sculpt/shape your legs. In my opinion they are just like Lululemon leggings but half the price.

Soho Joggers: Every woman needs a pair of simply joggers. Not only do I lounge around in these at the house, but I also run to the grocery story while looking stylish.

Ankle Skinny Jeans: If I actually leave the house it is usually in these jeans! Fit like a glove and has great stretch to them. Very flattering for all body types.

High Rise Jeans: These Levi’s are great postpartum jeans that help keep the tummy in nice and tight but also still have that trendy distressed look!

 Nursing Friendly Tops:

Zella Get it Girl Pullover:  This hoodie is comfy and super cute with a pair of leggings. I also wore this in my first two trimesters of pregnancy. It is easy to lift up to nurse your little as well!

Nursing Sweater:  This Emerald nursing sweater is gorgeous! Although a little on the pricey side, it is one of my favorites for nursing on the go.

Collar Cardigan: I live in this cardigan. It is so comfy and perfect for a nice spring day. It is great for nursing as you can just pull it over baby when they need to feed! Definitely a classic staple in my closet. I believe it’s currently sold out but should be restocked soon!

We the Free Kai Henley:  I wear this shirt ALL OF THE TIME! It is a henley tee so you can button it down and nurse. I usually rock it with a long cardigan or leather jacket. Great for spring!
